About Carleton Housing
Carleton Housing (Lloydminster) Inc. works directly with multiple organizations including but not limited to: Onion Lake Cree Nation, Saulteaux First Nation, and the CMHC (Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation) to provide affordable housing options within the City of Lloydminster and City of Battleford.
Carleton has 2 dedicated staff members, Jane and Marrilynne, who work hard to ensure that the business operations are conducted thoroughly and efficiently. Initiatives are brought to Board Meetings for approval from the board members. The Board is composed of representatives from Onion Lake First Nation and Saulteaux First Nation.
Currently 63 units are managed by Carleton Housing, including unites in an apartment style building. Each unit is maintained by local contractors, wherever possible, to ensure that Carleton re-invests back into Lloydminster, promoting a strong community bond.
